On July 4th, 2015, the Armenian Hematology and Oncology Department, headed by Samvel Danielyan, MD-PhD, hosted the 1st Cancer Patient and Survivor Summit of Armenia. This was a unique opportunity, as world-renowned Stanford professor Peter Greenberg, University of Texas professor Maro Ohanian and chief pathologist of Yerevan Dr. Armen Mkhitaryan gave speeches. Bridge of Health got the chance to talk about our organization, and our very own Anahit Barseghyan presented medals and certificates to all the children who received chemotherapy. Awards of appreciation were also presented to Professor Greenberg, Dr. Ohanian, Dr. Roupen Dekmezian and Bridge of Health president Robert Agaverdian.
